This was the first of the series of commentaries I offered on the intelligence abuses revealed by leaks from the former National Security Agency (NSA) contractor Edward Snowden. It discussed how the NSA surveillance program had evolved from the Bush administration into that of Barack Obama, and how the legality of this intelligence eavesdropping was highly questionable.
